To all those who don't think illegal immigration is a big deal, please sneak into other countries and work illegally and see how you get treated. Do you know what european nations on the mediterranean do? They have have "camps" for illegal immigrants from Africa.
When iw as in Europe in 1991, and took trains, they had police looking all over trains for Bosnians that had snuck into western europe fleeing the pre war there.
The Italians have such camps, and they are being heavily criticized by the rest of the EU for abysmal the way they handle the situation.
Read the thread. People are trying to falsely connect being illegal with being a violent criminal. There are out of status people from every country in the world in America but Mexicans are the ones being stereotyped as violent. The student overstays are not considered criminals. Americans hire these "criminals" everyday without fear of violence. You can technically say that illegals are guilty of a crime but to claim that simply be illegal makes you a criminal is false.
Is a teen who shoplifts a soda a criminal? How about a jaywalker or speeder or litterer? They broke the law but are not considered criminals.
I have the thread.. no one is making the accusations you are claiming. Al they are saying is that they are criminals, they are saying nothing more or nothing less.
If someone is saying more than that, then prove it
Just saw an article in today's Wapo glorifying people who aid "undocumented immigrants" in sneaking into the USA. Imagine if there were groups that aided other criminals like pedophiles.

Funny that people are to be punished for migrating to another country these days. In former times such migrants just shot locals who opposed their arrival, not mentioning any names here

that is not proof that anyone is saying that illegals are pedophiles, that is saying that both are criminals, and aiding a criminal is wrong, not that they are of the same violent nature.
Bernie Maddof isn't a violent criminal. so I guess he shouldn't be called a criminal, let alone be in jail?
There are plenty of non violent crimes that we still take incredibly seriously and throw people away for..
