A serious questions for all of the far left here: (death, how much)

I was not talking about left-wing EXTREMISTS... Left-wing is everything to the left of the fuselage Apart from that I prefer a left-wing extremist to one from the right anytime, frankly.
Name one pro-life, pro-2nd amendment, pro marriage between 1 man and 1 woman, pro smaller government politician or public figure who is also open about their faith/belief in God/Jesus that you do not think is "stupid." Thanks
I don't call a person smart or stupid based on that.
Thom Hartmann (#1 left wing radio show host) is pro 2nd amendment
Ed Schultz (TV show host on MSNBC) is pro 2nd amendment
President Obama is pro-marriage between 1 man and 1 woman
That doesn't make them smart or dumb.
Smaller government?
The only pro-small government politician that I know is Ron Paul,
all the other republicans are pro-corporate socialism and overthrowing governments around the World.
You're totally off topic. You have no way to refute anything I said, starting with my proof that the assumption of the original post was incorrect, so your only remaining tactic was to try to change the subject.
Go bleat somewhere else.
Change the subject? The subject is, and remains, are there any liberals that can idenifty someone that they don't think is "stupid" based on clearly conservative ideals. And your response? Your view of Republicans. That's hardly an answer to the OP's question.
So, following your lead, Jack, I come along and point out that you'd be hard pressed to turn the story around to implicate conservatives (although you tried, but failed) while absolving liberals of the same implications.
The fact is, you know i'm right. And thus you resort to attacking the messenger.
When you're ready to answer the question at hand, let me know. But until then, why don't you stew on my point for a minute.
Here, i'll even make it easy for you to remember what I said:

The only whim of difference is what you actually consider orthodox. Your orthodoxy does not follow along the traditional tagline of conservative ideals, but that doesn't mean that you don't "seek to enshrine that orthodoxy in our laws and societal norms."
Fancy verbiage. But you basically said nothing.
Again, i'd be glad to see how you tap dance around that one.

I'm sure there are a multitude of elite conservatives who are intelligent. If anything that only makes the intellectual dishonesty all the more inexcusable and disappointing.
Dabbling as I do in art, literature, music, design, and film, most of the people I consider both smart and admirable are likely to be to the left.

When you talk about far left or far right extremists you get into möbius strip territory.
I guess someone to whom all properties mentioned in the op apply, would be a rather conservative person. But there are conservative people to whom only a few of them apply.
To me for instance anyone who believes in personal gods and prophets is a bit silly, but that alone does not make them stupid. I know such people, I just ignore that part of them so I can take them seriously. And some of their other attitudes are OK even in my view. Not all religious people are against gay marriage or abortion anyway.
I remember one conservative German politician (Heiner Geißler) of the Christian(!) Democratic Party, whom I used to like a lot, he was one of the few politicians I respected and would have voted for if I had not boycotted elections in the first place
I am sure there are politicians like him in the US, too. But probably they are not provocative and polarizing enough to be well-known.

You first, how about naming someone with all those traits who has actually accomplished reducing the size of government rather than just mouthing the buzz words?
Yeah, right. It's because there's hardly such a thing as a tolerant liberal. None of you are able to look past what you see as a belief in a "book of fairy tales," therefore us conservatives must be screwed up mentally. That's the gist of it, and you know it.
See, it's attitudes like these that don't get debates anywhere. By using words like "none of you" and "hardly such a thing" it only makes YOU look like the intolerant one. Perhaps if you could look past the so-called "evilness" of liberals, people would respect you more.
And DON'T respond to this with "but the liberals do it too!", because that again proves that you can't have a civil debate without putting the blame on others.
