Probe: Erdogan knew Gaza flotilla would be violent - Haaretz Daily Newspaper | Israel News

I have seen several articles in the past few days indicating that the Turkish government knew of members of IHH being on board the aid ship. They are also accused of telling the Israelis that the ship had only peaceful activist on board. Now today this article paints a picture of a trap that was set with the knowledge and blessing of the Turks.
This scenario makes more sense given the injuries to the Israeli soldiers. Had the soldiers attacked the ship with deadly force from the beginning they would not have suffered any injuries. The implications of the Turkish government involvement in this event suggests a shift in policy away from the west and alignment with the more radical ideologies of the mid east.

Of course it was a trap. Anyone who doesn't see this either is blind or are in favor of tightening tensions in the region.

Israel did use deadly force before landing on the lead ship. In this video you can clearly hear the Israeli's firing on them before they landed the commando's on the deck.

Israel attacks Gaza aid fleet - Middle East - Al Jazeera English

Too bad Israel left survivors and witnesses, huh.

However, I've also entertained the idea that this was a trap set by Turkey and if so, it was done brilliantly because right now, Israel is isolated from the rest of the entire world, save uncle USA and the Muslim world is uniting behind what it sees as a hero willing to stand up. (note Iran's recent statements) So it is very possible it was a trap.

Then it was pretty naive of the Israelis to fall for it.

If this moves us just a little bit of the way towards a fair and lasting resolution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict then we may have cause to thank the Turks at some point in the future.

If you watch the video the reporter is talking about the soldiers landing on the ship so obviously it was shot after the landing. This incident is so politicized you really have to dig to find the truth. There is much about the original accounts that does not make sense.

Turkey was up until recently considered an ally of the west, this is apparently changing. They seem to now be aligning themselves with Iran and the more radical Middle Eastern countries. This could be a big concern considering their nuclear capabilities. I am really concerned with the direction of world military alliances. It sure seems as if tensions are rising and that sides are being taken. Economic tensions could make these divisions worse as political pressure causes politicians world wide to take a more nationalistic stance in order to ease domestic turmoil. I have a sinking feeling this will not end well.

There was no trap...

The Turks are a low IQ nation, without civilisation...

The Jews are the smartest people on earth...

The tail cannot fool the dog...

If anything, the Israelis did not make their case crystal clear.

They did not ask all nations to choose sides, the way the great Sharon ( & GW Bush ) spoke about in the past.

"Whoever doesn't side with us,sides with the terrorists "...

Israel must set that dilemma to all UN nations.

Every nation,gov,regime ,must choose sides...
