I'm planning on taking my wife and two teenage sons to Vero for the 4th of July weekend and would like opinions on any nice hotels on A1A under $100/night if possible.
I want to visit the McLarty Treasure Museum and metal detect Wabasso Beach and surrounding beaches so I don't want a hotel to far away from these places.

Thank you,
Frank

there are several. Depends on if you want to be on the beach or not. Disney has a resort in Vero and its beachside. Springhill Suites just opened a new hotel last September in Vero. Its about 5 minutes to the beach. The other beachside hotels are the Holiday Inn and the Driftwood. They are kinda in your price range. Hope this helps. Have a fun and safe trip

None. Even the dumpiest room at the Holiday Inn, which is only a 3 star hotel, cost me $99 plus tax with my AAA card for a single, and that wasn't over a holiday weekend. You will need to stay on or off of US 1 for lower rates. There are some small inns on the beach along A1A as you travel toward Melbourne Beach, but I don't know what they charge. The rooms I saw were very "rustic" to use a euphemism.

There's a Best Western in the center of Sebastian that's pretty nice, but it's not on A1A. Again, you're choosing a very popular weekend for fishing, boating and hanging out at the beach.

Good luck!
