I left NC in the late 70's. Small town where everyone called my parents and told them where I was and what I was doing.. no matter if I wasn't doing anything wrong.. just too much at the time.

I was just showing homes in Kings Isle and I have to say they have a nice place there. I probably showed that one. You can walk to Publix, they have transportation available for you, all kinds of activities going on all the time. I thought it was a great place for over 55 community.

There is plently of condos in fort pierce for $17,000 @ Island House for a 1/1 and under $50,000 for a 2/2 in a gated community pool reck hall. Condo fees range from 245-305 per month water, garbage, gated, pool. Near shopping, hospital 95 and turnpike you will still be near PSL west only 15 minutes away and much cheaper. I have lived here for 7 years.

How do you get to the stores? Which public transportation do you use for shopping and to doctor appointments?

Humm...there is ONE condo -- not a house - for $16,900 and the others on the market are 24,500 to 50,000, depending on the building.

Built in the 70's and 80's so if they haven't been totally renovated they will need it, badly.

She would be much safer, more convenient to all kinds of shopping -think WALK and TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED- in King Isle.

In Tradition you can walk most anything if you are in the homes in Bedford Park or even some in The Lakes. If you are a senior there is a bus you can schedule to pick you up and take you to Dr appts.

In Kings Isle you can walk to publix and a lot of store AND because they are a 55 and older communituy, the provide transportation to other places as well as events.

can't beat it!
