Has anyone ever dealt with this under Florida law? I am working part time (I have two herniated disks in my back) and they even took my partial unemployment leaving me with a zero balance. I was never notified that they had obtained a Levy by my bank or Chase. Chase had a Judgment against me. However, I never knew that they could just empty your checking account. Now they have just made things worse because I have many health issues, and now I cannot afford my health insurance and I have the new Obama Pre-existing health insurance insurance. Considering bankruptcy because of the medical bills, but now I cannot afford that because Chase Bank emptied out my account, and I probably did not have enough to pay an attorney. Is this Levy permanent will they continue taking everything that is put in the account? My bank cannot tell me they were very vague.
FYI to all you people out the Chase bank will Chase you down this was originally a $1,500 medical debt that I tried to pay and they refused and were set on taking me to court over then they started adding fees and court costs which made this impossible to pay.
Have tried not to apply for disability because it just does not pay very much and it can take up to two years to get.
