Thumbs down Straight-Talk Phone-Awful!!

I have a straight-talk phone and will not renew. I got mine because I was going on vacation and my regular cell phone broke. I picked up a phone with unlimited minutes and text for about $50.00. The reception for the phone itself is fine, but nothing else works. Calling information is the pits.

You must listen to several advertisements. I have never been given the correct number, not even once! But if I did get the correct number, straight-talk does not put the call through for you. They will text the number to you. Of course, you pay to receive the text unless you have the unlimited option. Then, of course, you would have to write the number so that you could make the call.

My phone does not pick up the internet. I am surprised because Straight Talk and Tracfone are part of the same company. That was a good phone for the money, but now for some reason it is not even competitively priced (the tracfone).

I've been researching it and a lot of people are very happy with them and save a lot of money. If you just need your basics, it's a good option from what I have read.
