Hi everyone,
My family is moving to the area and i need help/info. I have two boys who will be in 1st and 3rd grade next school year so schools are important to me. The magnet schools in Vero required a lottery which already took place. So what are the other schools like? Are the schools better in PSLucie? Are there any areas in either city I should stay away from or flock to. We will be renting and can pay up to $1,300.
I hope I have given you all enough info to help me. I'm so very excited to be moving down there. I have heard such nice things about the area.
Oh my husband is working in Vero but traffic and such won't be a problem(he starts at 5 am).
Thanks
Nikki

The schools in St Lucie Co are a bit different than in other area. You can choose the school you would like to go to in what is called a ZONE. Such as, the Red Zone includes all schools in the area from the turnpike west. You would probably want to be in that area since it give you instant access to I95 for your husbands work.

I believe the education system in Vero Beach is better than St Lucie County.
