Have a friend coming in early June and he likes to fish. Where are good spots along the Indian river near Jensen Beach ? what kind of fish can we expect to catch ? Any help ? Thanks

Try a Google search for "Treasure Coast fishing spots". There are several links, including this You Tube video:

Treasure Coast Angler Fishing Show - YouTube
I didn't watch it, but it's nearly 15 minutes long, so there may be some interesting parts.

Take him/her up to White City or up to the park on Prima Vista. Bring some bait and see what you get! I don't fish, but realize it can't be too difficult. Good luck!!

You can go to Jensen Beach and do the charter boat thing or there are many guide services available if you don't have a boat.

I went yesterday...lol. A buddy of mine invited me on his boat and I couldn't pass up the opportunity. We went up the St Lucie by the power plant. Lots of dolphins! I caught a Jack and my buddy caught a bass. We were using live shrimp. Very enjoyable, and I didn't realize the water was so shallow through there!! It was less than 10 ft for most of it.
