Hi guys, new here. So I'm moving down to Fort Pierce from PSL (not really my choice) and we're purchasing a house in this area (refer to the green marker) and I was wondering if anyone knew how the crime was in this area? I know that Fort Pierce has one of the highest crime rates in Florida, but I also realize that it also depends on your neighborhood. Can anyone provide some enlightenment for me? Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong part of the forums.
Edit: The house that I'm moving into is about 45k and about 4k sqft in total, apparently the house is going under foreclosuer soon so the owner wants to sell it soon. The house looks very nice inside and out, and from what I could tell the houses around it were pretty clean. The road is also a dirt road.

Funny you would ask. Well not really.

I live in Vero and have an alert for crime within 10 miles - from Spotcrime. Now I can't swear to it being perfect but I got one just today about that neighborhood. Ave Q. Not a serious shooting or anything though.

You can set this alert up and get emails, too.

Other - AVENUE Q AND NORTH 48TH STREET, FT. PIERCE

I go down there now and then but really don't know anything about the neighborhoods, just the Saturday market and the beach. You'll like the market, it's great!

you did the crime map but you have to USE IT ... and move it to check on the areas you are interested in knowing about.
