Ah Ha, now I know why my neighborhood is suffering- you are getting all the special treatment. On my property I have taken every precaution to eliminate any standing water. When I went out this morning to pick a few figs they attacked my legs and arms. Been using bug repellant for weeks and just thought to see what everyone else is experiencing.
Years ago the trucks used to "fog" the neighborhoods in New Orleans and like the dumb kids we were we would ride our bicycles behind the truck to stay in the fog, great sport. In later years they adopted spraying from low flying airplanes.

I'm curious if the city does anything either. Although, I find lovebugs more annoying. Mosquitoes, at least, don't bother you during the day.

They spray in my neighborhood once a week. When I was young they sprayed and the fog was so thick you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. Here hardly any smoke comes out and he drives about 30 miles an hour. I think he goes too fast. My pool is screened in so I don't have a problem with any bugs.

I can't complain either, and I live in a neighborhood surrounded by swales with standing water due to all the rain this year. However, I don't have much vegetation on my property where mosquitoes can hide from the sun during the day. Can't say it's every week, but the truck comes through periodically. Perhaps you should call SLC mosquito control: 462-1692.

I've been here 3 years and have had exactly 2 bites! I was shocked at the lack of mosquitos.

In Vero Beach, I have yet to see a mosquito in the almost two months that we have lived here. I'd like to believe the lizards are eating all of them, LOL !
