Morning.

Am curious to know if Kings Hwy is a toll road for the general public or is it for truckers only? Just wanting to try a different way to Vero.

Thanx

Barbara

King Highway isn't a toll road. It's also not a truck route. It's just a regular run of the mill highway and if you're coming from the south it can be quicker than I-95 depending on which part of Vero you're traveling to. The only Toll Booth present is if you arrive from Florida's Turnpike.. but that can be avoided by swapping over to Kings Highway from either Orange Ave or Okeechobee Road.

King's Highway is 58th Avenue in Vero Beach. It is on the edge of the "developed" area and a quicker way to get to Route 60/20th Street if you are coming from the southwest part of the county. We live near 20th Avenue but still go straight across 5th St SW and up 58th Avenue to get to WalMart and the mall area. (Is this the same King's Highway you were referring to?)

Yes, I need to go to 41st ave, and would like to avoid us1. Can't take 95 due to some minor car issues

and you can also skip some traffic by using Indrio to Kings Highway. Did that the other night on the way to Vero and it was MUCH faster than starting at Orange
