How accessible is good medical care in the area for retirees?

You are a bit farther from the main "big box" stores along western 20th Street, maybe 20 minutes, but there are a lot of shops and restaurants at the east end of 21st Street (Known, for some reason, as Miracle Mile).
Thanks again, we'll have to come down sometime soon to check out the area. There is a condo on Trip Advisor in that area, and the monthly rental rate is very reasonable. Your info will help us decide rent it for a few months.

Gardenpearl, There are lots of GPs and specialists in town, especially along 20th Street. There's a large eye care center near downtown, and of course a good sized hospital just north of downtown. This is a county with LOTS of retirees so there are plenty of health providers geared towards seniors.

We are looking to relocate to Vero Beach. Can anyone tell us if there is a problem with moving into first floor of Condo in Fountainhead or Grand Royle? We like community living and appreciate suggestions. Moderate pricing.
