I saw online there is a New Years Eve celebration there for kids. Can anyone tell me if this is open to the public?

Haven't been to it before but today as I was walking thru town I saw that the field next to the lake had parking signs if that helps. The fireworks will go off over the lake.

I agree, we live in TownPark so we just watched from our neighborhood. They were nice but if you blinked, you missed them....
