Are the water meters in PSL visually read or are they read by some sort of electronic means? The reason I ask is that my bill always shows an actual reading, the meter box is just over my property line in the neighbor's front yard, but the grass has overgrown the meter box so much that it would seem to be impossible to visually read it. I can tell that the box lid hasn't been disturbed in months.

In my neighborhood they come around in a small white pickup, get out of the truck , lift up the meter cover with a rod/hook and actually read it

My meter is behind a locked fence. Pretty sure they use some electronic means to read mine.

They do both manual and radio reading , from their website
Meter Reader—Water meter reading (manual and radio) and water meter account work orders consisting of re-reads, leak checks, new customer account meter turn-ons, and delinquent account shut-offs

So what tips can you give me for keeping our bill down. We have a well for our sprinkler, and it's just me and the dogs during the day. I do about 2 loads of laundry a day. I heard that you can ask the water dept to designate a certain amount of your bill toward agriculture.

We are a family of four.

Thanx everyone

Our water bill alone here in Arizona is over a $150 every month … and $350 for electric. A $50 a month bill sounds pretty good to me.

Actually we visited your area, and are considering moving there. Any advice, comments or suggestions?

Jupiter is beautiful. If you have small children, you would be amazed at the number of parks there are for them. Don't know if you visited Dubois park while you were there! it's a great little beach with a lagoon. You just have to watch the areas by the shore that have the sand bags, there Re some deep spots there! I thought the schools were great-I raised 4 kids there.

The shopping is ok, depends on what you want/need. I felt like we still had to go north or south to do anything major, and after living up here for awhile, my favorite "store" is Amazon. I do love Bravo supermarket tho!
