This is ridiculous! We moved here so I wouldn't have to deal with these temps!! LOL. What did the mercury drop to in your neck of the woods?

Right now it is 41. Not the lowest I've seen this month, but definitely not warm. I have my orange tree and pineapple plants covered, but I think the frost from last week got the pineapple plants a little. So sad.

Stay bundled up out there!

I hear ya, lowest we saw was 38 over here, my banana and guava plants are not liking this cold one bit. Also got them covered. My lemon tree on the other hand has seen an explosion of buds

LOL have to laugh at this. Yes I agree it's chilly but it's like 7 degrees in MA where I moved from and with the windchill well below 0. I'll take 30-40 degrees any day!

I'm in RI and I do have to laugh when 30 is considered cold. Can't wait to be living there this time next year. I will take the FL version of cold instead of the 6 inches of snow we got yesterday and 0 degree temps

Well, it's a different type of cold. When we were "snowbirds" from New York in the 70's, I remember going swimming in December. Now that have moved down some 30 yrs ago, you couldn't pay me to go near a pool or the ocean in the winter!

So if your moving down here, give it a few years, you'll see

Barbara

Barbara I agree. 40 does feel "chilly" when it's 70 or 80 for a week! But I still refuse to say "cold". Lol
