Hello,

I am considering moving to an apartment in the Port St Lucie or Stuart area. Does anyone have any thoughts on which apts would be nice, costs in $700-800 range for one bedroom? I am a retired journalist and single, live in the north and hate the cold weather. I love golf and bike ride everyday. I would appreciate any guidance. I have googled The Crossings at Indian Run, Harbour Pines, Portofino at Jensen Beach (maybe out of my price range) and Sanctuary at Winterlakes. All look nice but there's nothing like 1st hand experience.

Thanks

The Harbour Cay apt looks pretty nice at least on the web. Which is a better city to live in - Port St Lucie or Stuart? I've read good and bad about both. I don't plan to relocate until fall because I'm locked into this apt for another 5 months. One more question: when the northerners migrate south in the winter, is the traffic unbearable in those two cities ?

I spent a few winters in Marco Island and the traffic is unbearable. Population grows from 16,000 to 60,000 and it's a total mess.
