I was just at the sales office and can confirm that Phase II is single family home AND villas or townhomes. The 55+ is not yet confirmed.

Artanis, please remember that you went to the SALES office and if you have children, they are certainly not going to tell you about the 55+ intentions. They told the existing residents that they are going to make Phase II 55+ because although we feel they are building quite a few homes, they clearly indicated that it is not fast enough and know the market is in the baby boomers.

Thanks to all for the quick info. Perhaps Vitalia will add new models a bit bigger. Hopefully Townpark gets their plans in shape. It just gives for better choices for all.

Anyone have any feedback on Verano. It is really a great forum, I have learned so much from all who post both questions answers and remarks.

FlaladyB, I will inbox you when we are ready to look around sometime in Sept, I would also be interested in resales. Lots to think about

I mentioned the 55+ and they told me yes Minto wants to go thy way, but that it wasn't definite yet. That's all. The girl I've been working with told me she personally thinks it's a bad move if they do it - that she sees so many FAMILIES looking to buy. Hopefully they (Minto) reconsider

Artanis, that would be great news if they would listen to all of us and keep TownPark a family community. Thanks!

Minto.com website has the following on the first page of Townpark. If they are not changing market strategy they why does it say this?

Number 1 Active Adult Lifestyle Community in Florida!

Jim - it's said that for months now. We first started looking at Town Park in December and it's the only slogan I've seen.

When we purchased our home in 2011, the slogan was "#1 Quality Lifestyle". I think they changed the slogan last fall when they began to offer the stay and play program.

I don't personally equate " Number 1 Active Adult......." with a 55+ community (I suppose it could be marketed that way). To me, "active" means that there is a lot offered! Not splitting hairs but the last time I checked, I was an adult and as far as active, I'll let my 69 Corvette speak for that! Hope everyone stays safe tonight and enjoys the fireworks!!
