It seems you forgot your posting history is public in City Data.

Nice try.

Very laid back, just one of each as far as HD, Lowes, Walmart(supercenter that’s in need of a makeover), a deteriorating Mall, but on the upside the traffic is lighter, oh yeah, and good luck trying to find decent Doctor’s !

Every time I answer questions on here I get blasted for giving my honest opinion, Vero Beach is very nice place but like others said it depends on what you’re looking for and what you’re used to, for me it’s a bit too laid-back and lack reputable medical facilities ( hopefully when Cleveland clinic takes over Indian River medical center things will improve) if that’s a concern for you. There is only one Home Depot, one Lowe’s, some of the other stores chains are smaller versions of bigger cities, I sometimes have regrets moving here having lived in Broward County for many years and originally from New York City so as you can imagine this place is a drastic change. On the positive side, traffic is much lighter as you can imagine due to the lower population. Like others have mentioned it depends on what you are looking for. For me it’s a little too rural. Good Luck !

Quiet, Quiet, & can be quite boring if you’re from a larger city, the upside traffic is not nearly as bad as larger cities . 1 Super size Walmart ( that needs a desperate remodeling), 1 Home Depot, 1 Lowes, get my drift.... not so great medical/Dr. options neither. I will probably get slammed for writing this but I guess it comes down to what you’re looking for good luck !

How many Home Depot and Lowe's do you need in one city?
