What has happened, my neighborhood has piles in every block of tree branches awaiting pickup, some have been there for a month. Neighbors have called to no avail. It certainly looks poor and can create the wrong impression. I live in the NE area off of Airoso.

Yes, I have learned the pickup is on Thursdays. It is my neighbors trash I observe driving around my area. One neighbor called two weeks ago to Waste Management and they said that they were 1 week behind. Last year I called for my trash and got the same answer but when I called my council person it was picked up the next day!!!!!

They regularly pick ours up Tuesdays BUT sometimes they are quite lax in picking up the branches and stuff weekly

You need to call WastePro and schedule pickup. If there is major work being done on the lot, they may refuse to pick it up. WastePro will not pick up if it is considered lot clearing.

I have learned this from personal experience. I am extremely nit-picky, and it drove me nuts having a bunch of limbs out in front of my home. Eventually I got ahold of a manager and they got the crew to pick it up.

Where I previously lived, the city was picky-picky about yard waste pick-up. I understand the need to have leaves and clippings in bags, but they had to be that certain (large) lawn-waste bag, even if it was only 1/4 full. No paper grocery bags would be touched. They also said the branches from shrubs/trees had to be bound up in bundles and be no longer than four feet in length, and they would only pick up X number of bundles per month. The list of things they would NOT pick up was three times longer than what they WOULD pick up. I recall once they took as much as they wanted to take and left the rest on the curb, so I had to haul the rest back behind the house to wait for the next pick up date in two weeks. Made me long for the days of my youth when we just burned the leaves, branches, etc. in our burn barrel.
