Register now for Santa's telephone call to your children

The City of Port St. Lucie Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the annual “Santa's Calling” program, and parents are asked to register in time to ensure each child gets a special call from Santa. The program is free and is sure to make this Christmas extra special for your child!

Parks employees will arrange for Santa to place a personal phone call to any child who is 2 to 8 years old. The calls will be made on Thursday, Dec. 10 or Tuesday, Dec. 15, between 6 and 8 p.m.

Please make sure your child is available at the phone number you provide between 6 and 8 p.m. on the date you request. If Santa is unable to make contact by phone, he'll send a holiday greeting card to your child.

To register, fill out the registration form and return it to the Community Center by Friday, Dec. 4.

Upcoming Events

Winter Wonderland Lights Show begins Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Community Center. Make sure to stop by to see this "one-of-a-kind" light and sound experience. The light show will be displayed daily during normal evening business hours until Dec. 31.

Festival of Lights will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 2 to 10 p.m. at the Civic Center. Residents will have the ability to sample local fare and do some holiday shopping among the arts and craft vendors. After the North Pole-themed parade, stay for the lighting of the tree.

Pancakes with Santa will be held on Friday, Dec. 11 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Community Center. Bring children between the ages of 2-5 for crafts, face painting, a visit from Santa and pancakes. The cost per child is $7.50.
