how's the medical scene there? i'm a therapist, and considering those areas for a job in the therapy department. i have no idea how abundant therapy jobs are in the PSL/sebastian/vero beach areas. all i know is that florida in general tends to be very competitive when it comes to medical jobs.

West Palm pays much better and has more options. Most of the specialists are there as the hospitals up this way do very little. I'd suggest looking at st Marys if you're interested.

Physical Therapy? Can't say about job wise but ....

Yeah we have some but for sure West Palm will have more. Also there's alot of medical in Miami, and Jacksonville - Mayo Clinic and others that people travel to even from other states. Weston near Lauderdale has a Cleveland Clinic.

I'm a dog walker and LOTS of my clients go here in Vero.

The good one is Health South. There are others that are just so-so according to what I hear.

HealthSouth Treasure Coast Rehabilitation Hospital

There's one in Satellite Beach that has 16 reviews on Angie's List which is alot, FYI. Beachside Physical Therapy

There's also ALOT of agency jobs which I'm assuming are the lowest paying. And will generally be for seniors of course. Even dementia patients which takes a certain extreme patience and training as you probably know. I was fascinated with the OT they used to give my one client when I was there for it.

You probably will get more variety of clients in the more urban cities that were mentioned. I'm thinking even Miami Childrens Hosp which is sort of famous would have rehab maybe on site or a specialty one they use all the time like ours use Health South.
