I don't know if that is true, can you post your source for the data? I'd like to see it.

If you can't provide some data to back up your statement i'll just assume you are using your own "feels" data.

California, Florida and Texas lead the nation in sex offenders, this is easy to establish.

Your claim that PSL has a rate that is "a lot higher" is dubious though. Higher than what?

Study here, 2016:

https://www.researchgate.net/publica...ers_in_Florida

Shows the FL mean at the time was .12% with a standard deviation of .24%. St Lucie was only slightly over the mean and under 1 deviation from the mean.

You'll also notice the list closer to the bottom that shows the most dangerous counties for sex offenders being Orland and north, including the Pan handle. St lucie isn't on the list.

Thus, I am calling bull**** on your comment.

Are you implying that Greenville is full of pretty girls as in the video? LOL Just kidding. The video looks cool. However I like warm sunshine of Florida better. Missing the mountains though. I guess every place has pros and cons.

PSL has had many years to create a downtown and never did it. The lack of urban planning is pathetic. Tradition is another story. It's hardly a downtown. It's more like a strip mall. The lack of infrastructure is probably due to the general demographics of the population; lower class blue collar rednecks and retirees. Perhaps there is no demand for decent shopping or good restaurants. A good example of this is how a real estate agent from Tradition who posts here all the time was excited about a WAWA opening in Tradition. If that's the general mentality of the area, no wonder there is little to no upscale dining and shopping in the area. And, don't tell me the solution is to drive to Palm Beach Gardens. That's a minimum hour and a half round trip with the maniacs on I95 to go to a restaurant? Forget it. It's not something you can do every time you want to go out to eat. Unless you work in healthcare, there are very few if any good jobs in PSL and the current housing prices cannot be supported by the blue collar wages most of this city offers. Looking forward to the next housing crash and subsequent foreclosures. With subprime lending back including 0% down and liar loans, this should be interesting. Right now is the absolute worst time to buy a house. Better to wait out the market. Oh I forgot what the realtors told us in 2006 "Buy now or be priced out forever"!

you never quit do you.... always something jerky to say about everything.

All of us here report on things that are being built or opening in the area. It's information for everyone, even you.

Since you don't like it here, I thought you had moved already, at least that's what you keep saying. Still here after ALL this time? How come, since you hate it so much? We're all curious... waiting with baited breath, so we can close and bolt the door behind you.

If you did leave, why are you still coming back? Miss us THAT BAD huh?

It has a nice beach area. It seems to be nice as long as you don't get hit by a nasty Hurricane like we saw last year . Also, just evacuations seem like a horror show down those parts. Its a nice place to visit I would say.
