I have been looking at properties in the Stuart area. Dose anybody know about the Beau Rivage Estates development? Only 31 homes. Looks like a nice development and area and fits my price range. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

ok....let me fix this beau rivage ESTATES is different from beau rivage

computer gave me both -- one sec

one house for sale in there - 3/2 built in 1989 siding/frame construction /dated interior / pool

HOA is 29/mo

caddycorner away at the end of a small lake (waterfront!) towards the road. Would be great if it was located on the other side by the river.

btw...location is great for shopping. That area is also called North River Shores --just depends on who wanted to name it something else....but it is a nice area - sometimes people don't realize it's there.

Overall the area is very nice. Made up of different home by different builders. Usually have larger lots. The HOA fee is for access to the dock. It's tucked away-- by the river.

I sold a home a few streets from there a year ago for $400 that needed lots of rehab - and thats what they wanted. There are homes available in the same area but may not have the beau rivage estates name.

Thanks for the info. I did see that home you mentioned. That's what made me look into that area. My daughter is only about 20 minutes from there in Palm City. May be a good location for me to look. Is the train an issue there? I did see that it seems to run fairly close to that area.

the train is no issue there at all. It's right near the Mall and shopping. Like I mentioned - tucked away.

There are a couple of home avail in North River Shores which is basically the same neighborhood. One has been completely redone. You wouldn't believe it was even the same house. Room for a pool. The other one is dated inside but has a pool and a large lot to the side.

Let me know if she wants to see them

I think I may be sold on Stuart. The more I research the area and the proximity to my family, I think that I would like to retire there. Although I am still a few years away from pulling the trigger, are there any other areas besides North River Shores that would be recommended? I would be looking for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath with a pool. Open concept home preferred. Low or no HOA. Quiet neighborhood. No trains! I am hoping to have a price limit of $350,000 - $375,000. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
