My husband is getting a job in Stuart, and we are looking to rent in PSL. We never wanted to live in a gated community before, but my husband likes the idea of having lawn service, and other ammenitites built into the rent. Can anyone recomend some family oriented gated communities in PSL or PSL West? Several people have told us about Tradition, but I don't know if that's more for older people, or families. If there's a park or play area for children, that would be ideal, since my youngest is 3. We plan on taking a trip to the area soon to scout out rentals. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Tradition would be the most "family oriented" neighborhood that I know of... though it's not gated. Go there, I think you'll like it a lot!

Most other gated communities, especially in St. Lucie West, won't have the amenities for families. Heatherwood in Saint Lucie West is close to the highschool and soccer fields though, which may provide some good rec activities.

Same thing with Sawgrass Lakes near Tulip Blvd.... it's close to the Whispering Pines rec area.

Actually several communities in Tradition ARE gated. The Lake is 24 hours manned gated and Heritage Oaks, where I live, the gate closes at 630PM.

We have LOTS of families here and LOTS for them to do!!!!
