I do not want to break the rules about parking so I wanted to know if it was against the rules to park a car in front of my house.....Thanks

Oh and you can come to my door if you have a problem instead of calling my employer!!

Thanks

Who would have called your employer? I am sure it wasn't the HOA. More than likely it was a neighbor if you had a vehicle that has your company name on it. Other than that the HOA would have called YOU personally if they had anything to say- not your employer.

As for parking on the streets, I live in Heritage Oaks myself, if you park anywhere on the streets and leave the vehicle there all night, yes, someone will say something.

Also, vehicles with commercial writing on them are not allowed to be left outside a garage in any of the communities just in case yours is one of them.

That's kinda rough. What's wrong with parking on the street? If spots are available on the driveway I understand but most people I know use their garage for storage or other activities.. not actually parking cars.

You have a place for 2 cars in the driveway, 2 cars in the garage. If you have more than 2 cars and your garage is full of everything else, perhaps you should rent a storage facility or really look at getting rid of some of that "stuff" you have?

My car is in my garage. I got stackable storage racks at Target that hold up to 900 lbs and go 5 high. They line my garage on both sides and work great.
