I moved from NY to Palm City last August... I love it here.. but I agree with everyone else, don't make the move unless jobs are secure..

Where in palm city do you live? My family is relocating to palm city this june. We are comming in three weeks to look at homes. My husband has a secure job he is transferring to from NY. We are interested in Highlands Reserve, Hammock Creek, Islesworth in Palm City and Lake Tuscany and Locks Landing in Stuart. If anyone has any input on these areas or suggestions of other areas like these that we should look at i would appreciate anything you can give me. Our goal is to be in a good middle school in a neighborhood with alot of kids and young families.

We looked in Isleworth about 2 years ago and it seemed nice, but we've heard otherwise. My advice would be to stick with the others.

The schools are excellent in Palm City, anywhere you go.. I'm actually glad I chose Palm City over Port St Lucie, which is where I was originally headed. Hammock Creek and the Highlands are nice, but the thing that bothers me is that they are right off I-95.. I don't live in there, so I don't know if it's noisy or not, but it's a weird spot.

Thanks JillZilla, we are spending this comming weekend with a realtor. I want to see as much as we can. I anticipate only being able to make one more trip to Fl. before our move in June. We went out with a realtor last month and we saw Islesworth, Danforth and Oak Ridge. This time we are going to check out Higlands Reserve and Hammock Creek. What area in palm city do you live? Do you have any suggestions of anywhere else to check out? Do you know anything about Lake Tuscany and Locks Landing in Stuart????
