I wouldn't begin to answer that because everyone's agenda to surrender or purchase a property is so very different.

Plese ask a well qualified "realtor" how they handle foreclosures. You will probably be very happy until you walk into the home. Just my opinion on my buying several properties. Everyone is so very different and expect the unexpected.

I agree with Synergy, its a shame but some ppl once foreclosed on just trash the house and take stuff like the AC unit, water heater with them.

Port St Lucie to Invest $22 Million

Port St Lucie is about to invest $22 million to attract high profile companies to the city.
This is the largest investment fund held in Florida. The whole idea focuses in building a huge jobs creation corridor at Tradition where Torrey Pines opened it 100,000 square foot lab earlier this year. Now VTGI Florida is breaking ground in the same area this year on its new lab.
This is only the start. Tradition is one of the largest new development areas in Florida with a lot of other interested companies looking to invest in the area.
We will keep you posted on this story as it happens. This only adds to the fact that buying an investment property in Port St Lucie at current prices is a very good idea.I bought my house through this guy here I read his web site updates all the time , he has some good information on the area. www.kenduncanrealtor.com

Yes all Realtors can deal with foreclosures. Of course some are better than others. If what you mean is that you want to buy a foreclosure, than you want to deal with someone who lists a lot of foreclosure properties as they are most familiar with the different systems and different banks and asset management companies. DO NOT use someone who is unfamiliar with the process. We encounter this everyday. So many uneducated agents who lose homes for their clients. They have not kept up with the times and changes in the business and have fallen quite behind. Best way to tell is to ask them one simple question like "what is the average price per square foot of a newer 2000 sq ft home". If they hesitate or dance around the question, then they are not as involved in the market as they should be because that is one of the easiest questions to answer if you know the business.

If what you mean is that you may be losing your home, then you want to deal with a well versed short sale real estate specialist. If you don't use a good one you will get very bad advice and probably lose your home. Call a few agencies and ask to speak to their short sale specialist, if you do not get an immediate response then move on to the next one. You want someone that has successfully completed more than a few short sales to represent you.
Hope that helps, you can message me if you need more info.
