To qualify, a borrower must prove financial hardship, be two months delinquent in payments, and owe at least 20 percent more on the loan than the home is worth.

I thought they changed their names to Bank on America's Back. I never go inside their branches. Let's just say we don't agree on their policies.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS LINE of horse hockey...these banks are all in it together....they'll require you 'don't pay your mortgage' so you qualify..THEN delay the paper work and after about 6 months say.."you didn't qualify...pay up, or we'll foreclose! CROOKS!

According to what I learned today, that program is only for people with negative amortization loans who have already been adding tot he principal. At least that is what BOA told me.
