How many regulars here actually live near Portland ME? (South Portland: condo, house)

Just curious. I live and work right here in Portland, and I do have a good number of gripes about the place... but very few of the problems I have with Portland seem to exist in most of the country, and the rest of them exist everywhere.
Just wondering if this might be a good place to seek advice on local stuff or not. Most of the posts I saw seemed to be people from afar looking for advice on moving here, which I could understand- but isn't terribly useful to me.

Ask all the questions you want. They are very helpful to those of us that will be living in the Portland area starting in August.

I have a 1992 Volvo wagen with so much hail damage that it looks more like a Titliest golf ball than a car. But it still runs good so it will probably come with me. The transport cost will probably exceed anything I could sell it for.

Yep- transport would be ~1000 or so at the cheapest... but even beat to hell like that, it's worth more here than there.

I live just over the bridge and work in the old port. I pass along what ever advice or info I can when I have time to check the board.

I was in Portland for a couple years till I bought a house in South Portland where I am now. Probably start looking for a condo in Portland this summer.

I haven't been on here in awhile, but I own a condo in downtown Portland. I also work in Portland. That said, my girlfriend and I are looking to move out of Portland, sooner rather than later, to build a house out in the woods.
