Hi, we may be moving to the Portland area soon. Which towns/schools around there have good programs for gifted students? My son is 3.5 right now, so I'm wondering about schools that might provide good challenge for him in K or 1st, etc.

Thanks!

Just to add - are there any Montessori schools in the area you recommend also? We're looking into living in Falmouth, Yarmouth, Scarborough, maybe South Portland. Thanks in advance for any info!

My Grand daughter is a very sophisticated first grader. She attends the Breakwater School in Portland Breakwater School, Portland, Maine. She and her parents are very pleased with the educational philosophy and program. They have a preschool program thru elementary grades.

Hello reezley, welcome to the forum. Because I'm a real estate agent, I can't comment on schools, but I can direct you here:
