What is the job market like in the healthcare industry in Portland? My wife and I are both in the Radiology field(not MD's) Is there a possibility for us to find jobs in the Portland Metro region?

Check out the websites for OHSU, Providence and Kaiser. I think we have seven hospitals in Portland proper.

Go for a Legacy Healthcare System if you can. I have used several others and I like them the best. Their employees all seem pretty happy working for them. All the medical facilities have website where they post job openings.

Agree, would be my choice also. Interviewed with them and a very accommodating and friendly admin and staff all around.

Providence has the most locations in and around Portland, I would start your search there. They are a great employer with many opportunities in different cities if ever you would want to re-locate again... Working with HR can be tedious, but in the end is well worth it.
