Just looking for some suggestions of some of the best thrift stores in the area, mostly looking for clothes. Thanks.

A favorite of mine, mostly because it's reasonably close by, is Value Village (I found a nice Liz Claiborne cardigan there recently for $6.99). There are many other thrift shops and consignment shops, also vintage. What types of clothes are you looking for? Perhaps some who have lived in the area longer will have some additional suggestions.

Red, White, and Blue in Milwaukee. Not as dirt cheap as it used to be, but still great for clothes. Cash only.

I hit the Goodwill 'bins' on the way out there for small furniture and the like. I find it harder and harder to stomach this place though. It's nasty.

There's a good one in Oregon City and a great one in Canby (Kiwanis). I forget the name of the Oregon City one.

Oops, Red, White and Blue is technically in Gladstone. And truthfully closer to Oregon City than Milwaukee I guess.

The Fall color on 99e out of Oregon City to Canby is really beautiful and few times I'd go all-in: I used to like to keep on going from RWB to Canby for Kiwanis (funky days Wed - Sat?) and the 2 Woodburn ones: Goodwill and The Oregon Hope one downtown (this one is a secret, shhhhh). There is also a Woodburn auction on I forget which day. If you have even more time - what the heck - go all the way to Salem. There is another goodwill bins and other thrifts stores there. Or hang a left and hit the Goodwill in Silverton. I'm assuming it's all still there, one should probably plan ahead. I used to have time for stuff like this...those were the days....

A very nice used clothing store in McMinnville, called New To You. Worth a look if you are out that way.
