Just asking, what did you think about all the Food Cart Pods all around Downtown?
Did you try any food from a cart?

Was food carts something you found unique (the large number of) to Portland?
Before I visited, several people recommended the food carts. As another poster mentioned, I was originally expecting a little mobile hot-dog stand, instead of the little huts huddled together on an empty lot.

My favorite was probably the Snow White crepes, but it looks like they were sold out the last time I went there. I also had a really good gyro and a Greek salad.

I also tried a few other restaurants in the area, but the food stands were decently priced and quite good.

That's great!!!

Its my impression that the Food Carts are now a part of the 'scene' of the city of Portland. But, on this forum, I wonder about visitors 'take' on the food carts as a good thing or declasse.

Thanks for the upbeat review.
