Any suggestions on a good Christmas Eve service in PDX area with high quality Traditional Music. Can be anytime, but ~11PM preferred.

This type of service used to be the norm, but becoming very tough to find.
I prefer smaller chamber groups (Song / String / Horn). I'm not real keen on singing carols led by a guitar and airy voiced vocalist.

Of course YMMV, no offense intended or implied.

Hi:

I found this web site from searching the Portland Mercury street newspaper.
Tabor Heights United Methodist Church - Home
Seems like members of Portland's "Oregon Symphony" will be there.

Finding this place, and getting seats --- you're on your own.

What about Trinity Episcopal Cathedral? Nothing in my mind will ever match St. Thomas Church in NYC but I went last year to T.E.C. and... one could do much worse.
