Just got my latest water bill for my house in Portland.
It went up, water usage stayed about the same.
Total bill was 350 bucks.
Water usage was 22 CCF for 95 days.

Last bill for 92 days 21 CCF was 305 bucks.

My last Portland water bill was $26.00 but we do monthly billing. I assume you do quarterly.

To all reading this thread, please remember that the last posts in this thread were well over a year ago.

I personally no longer live in Portland, and my utility bills are a lot cheaper, so I can't really give realistic feedback to the current prices of Portland utilities anymore, but I know a lot of people read this thread.

It would be great if Portland people gave thier latest utility costs, whether they rent an apartment or live in a house, whatever the age of their house or which neighborhood (eatside or westside) they live in!

Tell us the details!

Please, let's update this thread a bit!
I'm sure people researching Portland would really appreciate it!

My water/sewer bill is up to about $35 per month these days. Low flow everything, don't have a washer in my apt. Only have plants on a deck, no yard.

I moved out of Portland during the summer.
But as a single person, in a medium sized, poorly insulated house with gardens, gas heat, electric water heater, my bills were
$55-60 per month water/sewer
$50-$60 Electric
Gas $8.50 in summer, as high as $70 in winter
Trash: $27 per month

I have similar rates as pdxmilw. Couple in good-sized house, gas heat and water heater. Electric is a little lower - $30 - 40 or so and gas is higher but more regular - $30 in summer to 60 in winter. I like hot water.

Depending on your living situation, water, sewer and garbage will already be included. That's how it is for apartments usually, less so for sf homes

ZOMBIE THREAD. Not saying the topic isn't gripping enough to be worthy of resurrection, just a heads up to anyone who might be feeling that rush of anticipation for a thread that is not about the homeless.
