Yes yesterday was a weird one. Not really cool not really warm and just really damp feeling.

I think the humidity here is nothing. But, then, I lived in Corpus Christi, Texas, for a few weeks during the middle of summer, and I have that memory to compare us to. In fact, I rather like the occasional humidity level here.

Western Oregon has many, many days of 90%+ humidity, but it's usually raining, the wind is blowing, and it's just wet rather than muggy.

Summer is the dry season, so when the weather gets warm the humidity drops. That said, the humidity can vary greatly depending on where you measure it. Irrigated lowlands tend to be really muggy on hot days, so if you spend your time on a golf course, wear shorts. The same day, climb the nearest 1000 foot hill and it will be dryer than a popcorn fart.

Only rarely does the humidity get high enough to be irritating, and it's never oppressive like it is in other parts of the country.

Portland is not humid. Been in Texas for a few years and now reside in Houston. Compared to South Texas? hahahahahaha I can break a sweat just having a thought here. Mowing my lawn means I needs a shower if I wait until mid day to do it (bad idea).

I remember thinking It was humid once in Portland, I was just spoiled
