The Central California Coast and Maine have the two coolest temperatures posted on that map.

Wow, people in Texas or Oklahoma literally had nowhere to go to beat the heat. At least if it gets over 100 degrees in much of the interior of West Coast you can always drive up into the mountains or coast to cool off a little bit.
