I want to see a concert on New Year's Eve there and was wondering where one parks in the area? Are the residential areas a few blocks away okay to park in?

If you can find a space in the nearby neighborhoods you can park there but it will be pretty difficult. The neighborhood is already crowded with resident parking and by the time the theater crowd gets there, there will be very little if no space especially because this is a big event.

Why not call the theater and see if they are going to be making arrangments for parking with the nearby lots like Zupan's or someplace that has a lot large enough to accomodate a large crowd.

Whatever you do, do not attempt to park in someone's driveway. You will be towed or at least ticketed. I have heard of that happening.
