Was reading some of the threads tonight just to catch up a bit and I noticed really cranky posts. Snappish comments, defensive rebuttals...

Have you noticed anything like that... or maybe I'm just finding the cranky posts.

Is it the weather? The moon? Not enough chocolate? Too much rain? We had some sun today!!

How's your weekend going? What's new?

I haven't heard that joke in a long time! (we usually referred to it whenever more than one thing went wrong in the server room).

I think the primary election process it getting folks adrenaline up. Others may be wanting attention.

Good one... but it is in retrograde. Started March 12, will end April 4th.

Some people are sensitive to it, others not. I looked through old charts going back through my life and turns out that my most traumatic events were all when Mercury was in Retrograde!

I don't like knowing before hand... but I do recognize, at least for me, there has been a pattern. Interesting stuff.

If you are referring to me, my apologies. I just get really tired of people slavishly defending Trimet no matter what... I have no idea if EnricoV falls into that category, but that's what I was reacting to.

As far as mercury being in retrograde, I suppose that's as good of an explanation as anything... or maybe the long winter, or the recent sun spots that were supposed to wreak havoc on Earth.

I think we might all just be excited to actually something real to debate, rather than the normal "where should I live" posts.

Yeah, it's me. The slavish defender.

I'll admit to failing to understand why if I think something doesn't suck, it makes me slavish. And wrong. But someone else who seems to think something is awful is a free thinker. And right.

I've been peeved this weekend because there's a new troll on board.

Wasn't trying to add fuel to any fire - guess I was aware of the new poster as well. (as well as a few other posts from people who are usually pretty even keeled.)

I let the blatant opinionated using of words as blunt instruments get to me a bit as well. Grrr..

Maybe when Mercury is no longer in Retrograde, we can all sit down for coffee!
