Heh...its been nice for 4 days in a row! I have to agree with people when they say oregon is amazing in summer...its not yet summer yet and it is amazing here. Hey...I do love the rain and gloom...I really do....we got here in december...so we went through the endless rain and squish...it makes u more grateful for the beautiful days like the last few...I guess if u do not like the rain....move on...but if u love rain and then spectacular beauty...hey visit oregon.

I know, right? We got some lawn furniture yesterday and I'm going to try my first Oregon Pinot Noir out there in minute. Ahhh....

It is so beautiful. I have to say, though, that December and January were pretty sunny too. I guess I haven't been here long enough to know what the weather is "really like" here...

This winter was very, very easy compared to usual. But glad to hear you all are enjoying yourselves...

But March was much worse, with below average temps and over 2X average rainfall.

If you guys are enjoying this, summer is going to blow you away.

It must be getting close to summer because the rain's getting warmer.

Agreed--I don't mind 55 degrees and a little rain. It's the 45 and 35 degrees that I get really tired of.

My wife and I are considering the move from Boulder. Cool place, but we've been here for almost 20 years now. I'm tired of having to work my butt off landscaping in April (HARD ground), pay way too much for water to keep it alive and then watch it all die in October. Also tired of 4 week kayaking seasons and never being able to have a backyard fire because I might catch the neighborhood on fire. The skiing won't be as good, but I-70 is so unbearable now, that we tend to only do long trips, and I think Whistler will be a decent substitute for Steamboat.
Lot's to do first, like get a job, but we're getting psyched up for it. I just wish that PDX had a better MTB scene. That is surprising.

Heh. It was nice and clear on the coast for the past couple o' days (we even went out last night to to eat: Beach Bite - Rockaway Beach | Urbanspoon - totally worth it. The owner served us personally, and the food was awesome).

I drive up into PDX today to the office, and, it's raining. Call the wife up, and she swears it's still sunny out at the house.)
