Does anyone know where I could find an indoor tennis court open to the public? My bf and I would like to play during the winter, but don't want to join an expensive country club. We would like to find a place where we could just rent the court by the hour. Any suggestions? We live in Hillsboro, so anywhere in Portland or on the west side would be good. Thanks!

Out on your side of town, Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation (http://www.thprd.org/facilities/tht_gi.cfm - broken link) is public. They even have a "stadium" with seating. Some of the courts are completely indoor and some are outdoor with a "dome" for winter play.

There are a couple private clubs as well, and some of them aren't the full expensive country club thing.

Any updates to places to play in the rainy months? Any place closer to downtown PDX?

Any particulars? March wellness is big and doesn't have one...not sure which you're referring too. Thanks!

Google is your friend. Here's a list of courts. I'm sure many of them will be indoor. Just work your way through the list - I'd do the parks last, they're likely to be outdoors.
