I think I just had the best ice cream ever. Strawberry balsamic black pepper ice cream, and honey lavender ice cream, and double vanilla. I was wondering what was going into the space at NW 23rd near the toy store, and this is it! (There is also going to be a new sustainable sushi place next door.)

Ooh, maybe I'll treat myself tomorrow. I work nearby. Willy Week gave them a poor review in the current issue, but I usually take what they say with a grain of salt. Honey lavender sounds lovely!

You didn't have the Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons? And just wait for the Blue Cheese Apple.

Their first shop is at 2035 NE Alberta St. We always stop by when in the neighborhood (usually going to one of the Vegan places out there.)

Yelp gives them 4.5 stars with 181 reviews.

I did try the caramel. :-) and the pear with Rogue blue cheese ice cream. And the marionberry jam donut, quiche Lorraine scone, and fennel pollen olive oil pound cake!

What! No chocolate or vanilla?

Seriously though this place sounds really interesting. I am going to put it on my "must try" list.
