I have recently become eligible for Oregon Health Plan due to losing my Health Insurance through work. I am pregnant, and living in SW Portland. Can anyone with experience with an OB/GYN Physician, good or bad please help guide me. There is an overwhelming list of providers, and I'd like to start with those that have a Great reputation. It seems many that I have called- are on the list, but when I try to make an appointment-"no longer accept this coverage". I should say also that in medical terms, mine is a high risk pregnancy bc I am 40....but so far All is Well at 4 months Thanks Very Much for all you can share!

Can you PM me the list? I can see if I am familiar with any of the providers.
Congrats by the way!

I had a good experience at Women's Healthcare Associates. Their site says that they only accept OHP at the NW Perinatal Center, but that might be be useful if you are high-risk.

WHA is amazing! If they accept OHP then I defnitely recommend them. Specific doctors I can recommend are Dion, Garvie-Loveland and Johnson at the Peterkort North offices
