Try Pacific Solutions or ENU.

Both have websites.

Fry's Electronics has a store in the Portland suburb of Wilsonville. They've been shifting focus over the years to consumer appliances, but they still have a few rows of modules and components for home computers and networks.

Fry's is good, but........Pacific Solutions and ENU are local and Fry's is a pain in the butt to get to if you don't live close to Wilsonville or don't mind a highwa y trip.

I can get to PS in 10 minutes vs Fry's in 40 minutes.

ENU gets my vote. Reasonably priced gear in a very low key setting. Both stores are in hole in the wall business parks.

Fry's is last resort for me as I hate the mobs of people and the pricing is higher than the smaller places.

I have used online retailers in the past with good success. My old fave went under Zipzoomfly.

Directron in Houston has a site on the web they ship anywhere. I have visited the location for Directron think ENU only bigger building.

Hope this helps.

Not in Portland, but Newegg get most of my online business.

I avoid Frys, it is super expensive IMHO, the employees always look and act miserable and it is really out of the way (and I live in Tigard). Moderator cut: off topic

I'm going to try Pacific Solutions and ENU, thanks for the recommendation...
