NWS says the PNW is about to get another good soak. Good news for the ducks among you.

We love our storms, and IMHO, November storms are always the best.

It gets really wet and windy, a few trees come down, coastal lowlands flood a bit and then it's over.
The high water brings the salmon and steelhead up the rivers, and flushes all the gunk out.
Happens every year, more or less. Just a normal, natural part of life in northwest Oregon.

So it's not like the world is coming to an end or anything.

I love it when it's grey and rainy on Thanksgiving. I hope this lasts the whole week.

Love the weather. Unfortunately I had an outdoor photo shoot scheduled for tomorrow. So now we'll have to scramble to find a way to do it inside.

Well, it's wetter than wet outside.

LOTS OF RAIN TODAY!
Pretty much a steady heavy downpour all day long.

Time to see how well your raingear performs!
Seriously, I'm running around doing my outside chores in breathable waders and a heavy duty Grundens rain parka.

The afternoon commute is really going to suck for a lot of people!

Everyone is driving 45mph...because you can't go any faster, this is a good soaking rain. I haven't had soaked socks since those downpours back in March.

Forgot my hat today and didn't have a hood. I didn't have too far to go, though. It was really coming down for a while there!
