Congrats to the people who do not have this...thing that is going around. This has been horrible for my family. We all got vaccinated but we have had this... whatever flu/rhinovirus combo for 2 weeks now. This flu is killing the whole fam, everybody is in bed by 7. I was sweating from head to toe all day. The only time I have been this sick is traveling to other countries. I'm taking it the worst which scares me that I need to visit the doctor. My kids have a slight cough and my wife missed 3 days last week. Everyone at work has the same problem, deep cough, fever, chills but constantly hot and sweaty, diarrhea, loss of appetite, aching all over. Too many key people at work have it so we couldn't all take the day off. Instead, we're wearing masks, gloves and standing in the cooler on break. My department made a huge mistake today and I told the boss that "highly encouraging sick workers to show up ends up biting you in the rear." His only response, "well tomorrow we'll just do it the right way, how about that?" I can't wait to sleep from 7 pm Friday to 7 AM Sunday. I could, I really could.

Wow Andy, that sounds awful. And you all got flu shots? Hope you are all better soon. So far I've dodged the bullet, but being retired I'm not around other people as much as when I was working, thus less likely to catch it.

From what I've heard though, when you get to feeling better, don't push it, as relapses are common.
