I love those. I think there are 3 different ones. The Fox 12 news team seems like a fun group.

I saw a short documentary that Channel 12 did on the making of those commercials. It was fake rain! They shot those sometime in October. You'll notice that for some of the meteorologists there's a crowd and for some there isn't--that's because they didn't finish until 1am or so, and the audience had left by then.

I knew it.

Two things bothered me.
The rain did not look like typical Portland style rain and the people did not look like "rain soaked" people look!

Laugh all you want, but after living here all my life, I know what "Portland Wet" looks like!

It comes from a "rain machine" like they use in the movies. I don't know why they just didn't wait until it rained for real. They wouldn't have had a very long wait.
