$450 to $1,100 is middle of the road depending on your tastes.

Hillsboro is not NYC... it isn't even Portland. I don't know anywhere where someone can rent a furnished 1 bedroom in Hillsboro for only 3 months. OTOH there must be plenty of motels that will rent a kitchenette month to month? That's exactly how we spent the first month of our lives in Portland.

Not true. I found twenty seperate locations with pictures and current openings wiith rents listed, using Bing and the search phrase "short term rent apartments in hillsboro oregon". I can not give you the URL as this forum bans individuals who list compeating sites.

Short Terms list from a low of $650 to a high of $1,400 in Hillsboro.

I can type in the same thing on Falls City and come up with a bunch of results; it doesn't mean they exist. Some of these rental websites will show up on searches no matter what you type in. I saw a lot of apartment buildings listed when I did a search on Hillsboro, but the OP specifically asked about furnished short term rentals.

Living just a few miles from Falls City I tried it. No results. Nothing available. Hillsboro on the other hand produced several actual short term rentals available.

I don't know where you moved but that is foolish. There are current, REAL apartments all over, many new, with average rents of $475 to $875. Clean Safe, and in every neighborhood.
