This should be a DM conversation at this point, I think. And, in any case, it is a bad idea to rely on third hand assistance. Everyone I know who has obtained housing the way you are trying to do it (sight unseen) has ended up breaking their lease and dealing with all the fallout that results. Don't do it. Move here, live in an extended stay motel while you search for a place that meets your druthers. FWIW

Do you know of any extended stay hotels in Forest Grove that allow a cat? Sometimes there's a lot you can't find on Google

I don't know of any motels, extended stay or otherwise, in Forest Grove that I would want to patronize. Motel 6's are all pet friendly and once you stay longer than 2 weeks can switch to an 'extended stay' arrangement. We used the Motel 6 in Troutdale but that's because we didn't know that we were going to live in Hillsboro. There is likely a Motel 6 in Hillsboro and from there to Forest Grove is 10 minutes when the wind is right.
